Dear friends, family, and family-like friends of Jeffery Ghazarian:
Our dear friend has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Luckily it was detected early enough so that surgery was an option, and after speaking with him today (1/22/15) he seems to be in great spirits!
You don't need me to tell you this, but Jeff is not only a great friend and co-worker, he's also a great guy.
To show him the love and support he deserves, this account has been created to raise money - which Jeff can use to aid in his own recovery, or donate to the charity of his choice.
Jeff is the type of guy who would never ask help, but always be one of the first to lend a helping hand himself.
Now is our chance to show him how much we love and support him.

"Dear Fam,
In an effort to build awareness and encourage early detection, I will share whats been going on over the past week. Last Wednesday night I noticed a little pain and swelling in my right testicle. I didn't give it much thought but I did mention it to a buddy of mine. My friend, who is a a medical professional, told me to go to the urgent care as soon as I got home from work on Thursday. I did and I was diagnosed with testicular cancer this past Friday. Today I will have surgery and begin the journey to healing.
It has been a whirlwind week to say the least. Let my story serve as a reminder to do regular self check ups and to visit your doctor. Just wanted to tell you to be excellent to each other and that I love you all. Thank you all in advance for the prayers/positive thoughts/good vibes.
