An amputation for Proteus patient

Hi, My name is Jeffrey Ortega and I'm 26 years old.

I suffer from a very rare disorder called Proteus Syndrome. This is the same disease as the Elephant Man (Joseph Merrick) suffered from. Unfortunately there are only 200 cases reported worldwide.
Proteus Syndrome has affected me in different parts on my body, including my feet, legs, hips, and hands.

So far I have had 11 surgeries on my legs, however right now I'm in desperate need to have another surgery on my left foot. My foot is a size 15 and my foot is also so deformed that I cannot wear shoes anymore. I had to face the facts that because of the pain in my foot and all the rogue skin on the bottom of my feet that constantly get infected I need to have my foot amputated. The doctors who could help me amputate my foot cannot help me with it because of the financial issues that I face.

Day and night I pray to God that an angel touches your heart and helps me pay for the surgery for a better quality of life.
