Fireballs to battle Covid19
Let's do our part to provide hearty meals for our Hospital's Medical Staff to battle the fight!
Why we are raising funds:
There are few people doing more to protect us than healthcare workers on the frontline of the COVID19 pandemic. They deserve our thanks and admiration in the best of times, and a whole lot more than that right now.
These funds will be used to provide our famous Ohio Chicken Fireball meals for medical staff who are working day and night tirelessly treating COVID19 patients. We have heard that our hospital staff can't even find time to order food delivery. We want to boost their morale, provide them a nutritious meal to continue the fight, and remind them their community appreciates everything they're doing!
Who are we:
We are Jed’s Fallen Timbers in Maumee, OH. We just opened the doors in mid-January 2020 and then came the directive to limit services to carry-out and delivery only due to Covid19. It was a gut wrenching day when we had to lay off most of our new staff.
How do we do it:
We will provide meals for the medical staff at local hospitals and help our staff get back to work.
What have we done:
We have provided 200 meals so far for the medical staff at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
Which hospitals we will be sending food to:
ProMedica Toledo Hospital
ProMedica Flower Hospital
ProMedica Bay Park Hospital
St. Luke’s Hospital
Wood County Hospital/Bowling Green Hospital
