Hi friends, family and community supporters!
Lately, in our beautiful country we have been inundated with uninspiring news of cities in unrest or chaos. Contrary to popular belief there are citizens from all generations ready to engage in dialogue concerning new ideas, technology, public space needs and more.
The New York Times publication has invited me to their 2015 Cities for Tomorrow Conference (http://www.nytcitiesfortomorrow.com/) on July 20-21, being held in New York City, NY at the TimesCenter .
Our cities need proactive participation from all walks of life to remain sustainable and prosperous. Join me in raising $1,522 with your contribution and support.(Extended until goal is met) to cover:
I WANT TO RAISE THE REMAINING $965.00
• attending the conference ($476)
• lodging ($400 - $600)
• travel expenses ($275 - $315) Covered as of 6/1/15 contributions.
Thank you and God bless!
Jean-Desir Fils.

We are told many times to be the change we want to see in this world. Thankfully, through hard work and dedication I have been afforded many successes as well as failures and have enacted some progress in my community. To continue this trend it is important to be ahead of potential changes and opportunities within our cities. My goal is to represent my contributors while attending this event.
I would love to use some of you or your friends questions that could be posed regarding ideas for Cities For Tomorrow to some of the game changers in urban planning, architecture, business and politics that will be in attendance. Also, you can use my page as an impromptu global town hall on the topic as well!
