Jayana is missing her Mommy

Our beloved Gabriella was taken from us with tragic violence. 

Left behind is her beautiful 14 month old daughter. 

This letter is what we think she would say if she could tell us her thoughts now…. And this request is to help support her and her Grandmother Nicole through out this very difficult and heartbreaking time.

Life is too short, but I have a long ways to go… My name is Jayana, and I am not even 1 & ½ years old, and the most important person in my life was taken from me in a completely unnecessary act of rage, my beautiful Mother, Gabriella. 

I can’t explain to everyone how I am feeling because I have not found my words yet, but I know that I am heartbroken and scared. I know my Mommy is gone, and I don’t understand where she went- but I know she is not here and I miss her so much already. 

I have my entire life ahead of me still… 

I have lots of people that love me and are doing their best to get me through this transition of life without my Mommy, but it’s hard. 

My Grandmother is going to raise me from here, but she’s going to need lots of help. Diapers, food, a home, clothes, doctors – they add up to a whole lot over time – but my wonderful Grandmother won’t take no for an answer.

She is going to trade her hard earned retirement years to take care of me. She will make sure that I am loved and safe and raised in a home where I can learn about  my Mommy. 

I wish so hard to make this a little easier on her.

Please, any help through my Go Fund Me will go directly toward my upbringing with my Grandmother. It will change my life and provide me a chance for an amazing future… my Mommy and I thank you so much.
