Disabled Grad needs Accessible Bath

Jay is one amazing guy (and my oldest son).  Despite Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, he moved away from home at 18, went to college, graduated from UNT with a degree in journalism; all while typingwith his head, 1 letter/word at a time! Jay is TENACIOUS! After 10 years of living in the Denton community with friends and aides, we needed to find a more stable living situation.  We had trouble finding caregivers and there were several recent situations with his aides that could have had devastating results.  I decided to advertise for a "HOST home".  I was hoping to find a family with multiple adult caregivers that could participate in caring for Jay and help him have a fresh restart.  We FOUND THAT FAMILY!  Rebecca and Troy of Grand Prairie are the perfect match!  Every single thing lined up for the transition, EXCEPT the bathroom There is only a 1/2 bath downstairs and because of that, the caregivers will need to do a 2 man to carry Jay up the stairs for bathing.  We all agree that modifying the bathroom will be best for Jay and for the long term success with this new family.  I attempted to get funding from DADs but it won't be approved because Jay doesn't own the home. 
What do we need from ALL Jay's Family and Friends?  Would you consider supporting this accessible bathroom modification by donating to Jay's Account?  If any money is raised above the modification costs, we will use that for his accessible Van repairs.

Please consider prayers for Jay and this new opportunity.  Pray for health for Jay and for his new caregivers.  This opportunity will certainly help me (Kimmy Gibson) with the constant stress and anxiety that I have gone through this year in trying to find caregivers and having Jay in/out of the hospital for surgery.
