Jason Yeramian.   At a quick glimpse I guess you would view Jason as an average guy.  He worked as a bartender in an average bar for 15+ years.  Lives an average lifestyle of surfing, running, road trips, hanging out with friends, and playing and taking care of his beloved dogs Chief and Gourda.  He lives a modest lifestyle and works hard to earn the things he needs without anyone’s help.  A humble man that just wants to work, live and be a good person.

The reality is Jason is not an average guy.  His smile will brighten anyone’s day.  His generosity is unmatched.  He can find the good in every human being and become friends with anyone he meets.  Anybody having a bad day or just needing someone to talk to can rely on Jason to cheer them up.  Strangers at the bar could be having the worst day ever and Jason would make them smile and forget their worries.  His caring and love is unconditional.

One year ago Jason started noticing twitching in his muscles throughout his upper body.  Two months later his legs just didn’t seem to be working right.   After countless doctor visits and 9 months of not knowing, a neurologist uttered out the letters A.L.S.  Devastating diagnosis.  Mainstream medicine knows no cure.

An average guy would accept his fate.  Not Jason. Through hours of research and his amazing network of friends he has sought the help of alternative medicine with promising treatments.  He packed his bags and left his dogs that he loves so much, his girlfriend that he loves even more, and the friends of San Diego- where he calls home.

Jason is currently staying in the middle of the Arizona desert receiving a 3 week treatment plan that is not covered by insurance.  As you could imagine the cost is stressful to say the least.  Jason is not asking for a penny…he has no idea about this gofundme page.  He just has friends that want him to get better and to see his smile for years to come.  Please help a not so average guy.  Jason Yeramian.
