Jasmine Sims-Mitchelle's road to recovery
Donation protected
Greetings, on January 20, 2023 my wife Jasmine was in a horrible accident that almost took her life on hwy 224 near Eagle Creek while on her way to work. She was hit by a drunk driver who jumped into her lane while speeding to pass another car and collided with her head on.
After being cut out of the vehicle, my wife was rushed to OHSU where she is currently undergoing one of multiple surgeries to repair a broken leg, hip pelvis, and back bone amongst a long list of other injuries sustained from this accident.
Although this tragedy has caused her physical and mental trauma, I am very grateful that she survived. Unfortunately she will need 24 hour care for her recovery which means I have to relocate us to a home that will best accommodate her rehabilitation and medical needs, so as we face what seems like an endless road ahead I pray for the strength and guidance to overcome this difficult situation.
As many know, Jasmine is loving, kind, peaceful, and hardworking person with a heart of gold who didn’t deserve this. I thank you for your support in reaching this goal to get my wife home as soon as possible.
