In October of 2023, someone I trust very much encouraged me to pray for my vocation and to be truly open to what the Lord had in store. Something that I have heard throughout my life in prayer was now being said out loud. Through prayer, spiritual direction, and the support of those close to me, I have decided to take that leap and say yes to the Lord. Recognizing that He is inviting me to take the next step in discernment, I will be entering aspirancy with the Sisters of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT).

Saying “yes” to this call is something that fills me with both peace and excitement, but it also comes with very real, practical needs. As I prepare to step into this new way of life, I am working to pay off remaining personal debts, cover the cost of flights, and take care of necessary expenses leading up to my entrance and during the 6 months of aspirancy. Religious communities like SOLT ask that candidates enter as free as possible from financial burdens, which is something I am striving to do with trust in God’s providence.

Throughout my life, I have grown to deeply desire to give my life fully to Christ and to serve wherever He calls me. This next step into aspirancy is a beautiful and important part of that journey, and I want to enter it with a heart that is free, open, and ready.
