Help Me Attend Fork Union Military Academy

My name is Jasiah Perry. For many years I have dreamed of getting a college degree in engineering and playing Division 1 college basketball. I have been taking AP and honors courses and enrolled in a high school career academy for two and a half years and focused on engineering so that I would be more thoroughly prepared to study engineering in college. Additionally, I have been training for 10 years with the hope and goal of receiving a college basketball scholarship which will allow me to achieve my dreams of both graduating with an engineering degree and playing basketball at the Division 1 level. In order to further increase my chances of receiving a college scholarship to study engineering and pursue my Division 1 college basketball dreams, I have been offered a very special and unique opportunity to improve my academic and athletic skills by attending Fork Union Military Academy which in turn will help me to realize my academic and athletic aspirations.  

Fork Union Military Academy, which has a very rigorous academic program and a highly selective basketball program, has offered me a scholarship and my enrollment starts this fall. However, there is still a remaining cost to attend which is $17,000.

I’ve been working long hours this summer to save money and even worked 12 hour shifts in order to help pay for this once in a lifetime military academy experience.
