שמי ג׳אסם אלג׳וראיד, ואני עיתונאי גולה מכווית מתגורר כעת בקנדה עם משפחתי שמי ג׳אסם אלג׳וראיד, ואני עיתונאי גולה מכווית, המתגורר כיום בקנדה עם משפחתי. נאלצתי לנטוש את מולדתי לאחר שנעצרתי ונכלאתי בשל תמיכתי ללא פשרות בשלום ובנורמליזציה עם ישראל, וסומנתי כפושע. עמדתי תמיד הייתה בניית גשרים ומאבק באידיאולוגיות של שנאה. דיברתי ישירות אל קהל ישראלי בערוץ היוטיוב שלי והייתי פעיל גם ב־X, שם הבעתי את תמיכתי בישראל ובעם ישראל.
כעת אני מבקש את עזרתכם לעשות את הצעד החשוב הבא: לבקר בישראל, לפגוש את האנשים שעבורם פעלתי, ולהכיר מקרוב את המדינה שלדעתי יש לה זכות להתקיים בשלום באזור. שיש לה תפקיד חשוב במזרח התיכון ובעולם.
המסע הזה יהיה סמל עוצמתי לאפשרות של שלום והוכחה לכך ששלום יכול להתעלות מעל גבולות ומחלוקות פוליטיות.
אני מתכוון לשתף את הטיול עם העולם ומתכנן ראיונות, פודקסטים ומפגשים שונים בישראל. הטיול ממומן מכיסי ולכן אני מבקש את עזרתכם.
כל תרומה, גדולה כקטנה, מקרבת אותי למטרה זו. תרומתכם תסייע בכיסוי עלויות הנסיעה החשובה הזו.

My name is Jassim Al-Jurayed, and I am an exiled journalist from Kuwait, currently living in Canada with my family. I was forced to abandon my homeland after being arrested and imprisoned for my uncompromising support for peace and normalization with Israel, and was labeled a criminal. My stance has always been to build bridges and fight ideologies of hatred. I have spoken directly to an Israeli audience on my YouTube channel and I have also been active on X, where I have expressed my support for Israel and the Israeli people.
Now I ask for your help to take the next important step: to visit Israel, to meet the people for whom I have worked, and to get to know the country that I believe has the right to exist in peace in the region. That has an important role in the Middle East and the world.
This journey will be a powerful symbol of the possibility of peace and proof that peace can transcend borders and political divisions.
I intend to share the trip with the world and am planning interviews, podcasts, and various meetings in Israel. The trip is funded out of my own pocket, so I ask for your help.
