On Memorial Day weekend, our world was forever changed. Jared Urson Wheeler — beloved husband, devoted father, and a man who lit up every room he walked into — was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind his wife Shawn and their baby daughter Elle.

Jared was 39 years old. He was the kind of person who made everyone around him feel seen, celebrated, and loved. His laugh was contagious, his heart was enormous, and his dedication to his family was absolute. He was everything to Shawn and Elle — and to so many of us who were lucky enough to call him a friend.
