Jared's Journey Against Brain Cancer

Jared was very suddenly diagnosed with a brain tumor on Friday, November 8.

He was sent right from his primary care office to the UW University Hospital where he remains hospitalized.

Jared had a successful brain tumor removal surgery on Thursday, November 14. His neurosurgeon feels confident he removed close to 100% of the tumor. While this news is positive, the tumor was a high grade cancer with high likelihood for reoccurrence. Jared will need chemotherapy and radiation therapy in the future. Unfortunately, there have already been some setbacks and Jared will likely need to spend time in a rehab setting before starting his next treatment plan.

Jared is the primary financial provider for his family and will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Please consider supporting Jared, Rachel, and their young family during this difficult time.
