Janna, an amazing friend, daughter, sister, wife, and mother to four beautiful young girls, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her cancer has been descibed by doctors as "agressive" but easily targeted by a specific type of chemo. She will start treatments on Tuesday, March 17th that will be on-going for about 6 months, at which time, they will discuss her options when it comes to mastectomy. Strong though she is, the thought of battling cancer is daunting, especially when you are a stay-at-home mom to young children, the youngest being under a year old! We, Janna's small group from Southside Church in Peachtree City, are joining hands with her previous small groups, her friends, and her extended family to be there during this tough time.
So what can you do?
1. PRAY! Pray for her strength as she starts treatments, that her body will react well and the cancer will respond. Pray for peace over her and her family as they begin this hard journey.
2. GIVE! It is well known that fighting cancer is not only depleating emotionally, but finacially, and every dollar we raise through this site will go straight to Janna and her family to help pay medical bills. Every dollar you give helps! No donation is too small, and certainly no donation is too big!
3. SHARE! On social media, with friends, with family...let's JOIN together to be the hands and feet of Christ for this family!
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
