On July 30, 2016, my beloved college roommate, Kathy Johnston Mazdra, lost her 23-year old son Jake, after a life-long battle with Hunter's Syndrome.  Last Thursday, September 30th, they lost their other son. Luke at the age of 21 of the same illness.

Our hearts go out to Kathy and her husband, Bill. 
Because both of their sons suffered from the most severe form of Hunter's Syndrome, their medical, and now funeral expenses, are insurmountable.  While we know it is impossible to ease the pain of losing their sons, we, her Delta Zeta sorority sisters, would like to help them in any way we can.  

Donations have gone to the funeral costs for Jake, and now are needed for his brother, Luke. They have done everything in their power to provide for their boys. Neither parent has worked outside the home as they have been the primary caregivers for the boys for the last five-plus years.  Please search your heart, pray for my sweet friends and help them find comfort by easing their financial burden.
