I have been competing in surfing events around the world since I was 13 years old. I have trained with the best and traveled across the world in hopes to make the World Tour. I am thankful for my friends and family for believing in me and faithfully supporting my career goals in surfing. This past July my dream was derailed when I severely tore my MCL & ACL ligaments in my left knee. Everything came to a hault!

After three months of refraining from any athletics the news was not good. The most recent MRI shows that without the ACL surgery my ligaments will not heal. The doctors informed me that if I want to surf again, I will need to have ACL reconstructive surgery on my knee to correct this injury.

I am scheduled to have the ACL reconstruction surgery the first week in December with the hopes of a new beginning! I am starting my journey on the path of healing and getting back to the sport and lifestyle that I love. I know that I am facing months of painful Physical Therapy sessions, but I am staying positive and I am determined to get back to full strength.
