Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
Hi, my name is Melinda and I created this account for my dear friend, Tonya Bentulan and her son Jaden. Jaden is 24, on March 15, 2022 he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. It is an aggressive and rare variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma called T-cell/histiocyte rich large B cell lymphoma (THRLBCL).
Due to complications, Jaden has been in and out of the hospital since. His spleen is enlarged and his liver continuously kicks back fluids that fill his chest and abdominal cavities. This has made him septic and caused fluid to get into his lungs. On top of chemo, Jaden will continue to have procedures regularly to drain fluids in order to relieve pressure on his back and organs. Friday 4/8/22 Jaden had a very hard night, blood work was the worst they’ve seen so far. Jaden was given a blood transfusion that didn’t help
as much as doctors had hoped so they started another transfusion on 4/10/22.
Tonya is a single mom to Jaden & Tyler 17. Both Tonya & Jaden have taken a leave of absence from work and will need all the help
they can get to cover medical and daily living expenses.
Jaden is so incredibly special, his smile lights up the room! He’s so incredibly smart, funny, caring and has a beautiful soul. Please please please help us spread Jadens story to help
