I never thought in a 100 years I would have to start a GoFundMe page, but we are facing difficult times and we are in desperate need.
On May 25th, my step-daughter Jada (age of 21), went into cardiac arrest. She was already hospitalized for 2 weeks for another medical issue and was now diagnosed with congestive heart failure. When Jada arrested, the doctors worked on her for 14 minutes before they were able to revive her. We almost lost Jada! As a result, Jada suffered brain damage and is having serious complications.
We trust God for all He promises us. For a healing, clarity for her family, and for her medical staff. My husband Phil (father of Jada) is a dedicated father who also believes in the healings of God. Phil and Zana (Jada's sister) have been staying there and have never left Jada’s side.
I thank God for His presence and for the skilled medical team in CICU in Winter Haven Hospital for getting her heart started again. She is now in Orlando at the #1 cardiovascular hospital in Florida until she’s stable enough to be transferred to a facility that specializes in her present condition. One question now is, when? We have no idea at this point.
It will be 3 weeks on June 15th that Phil hasn’t been able to work and we do not know how long he'll be out. This has taken a serious toll on our finances. The hospital is over an hour away and we only have one vehicle. As you can imagine, our finances have been drained from the daily spending of food, washing Phil and Zana’s clothes, to our immediate need of house bills. All donations are appreciated and will be used accordingly.
