Jacob’s Group Home Generator Help
My 15-year-old son is nonverbal. He has Autism. He has A1 Alpha Antitrypsin Deficiency and he also has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. Jacob lives in a residential group home, and they are amazing. Jacob loves to look at magazines, and play with matchbox cars and loves to play on his iPad. His smile is infectious, and to know Jacob is to love him.
The group home has made such an amazing impact in our lives, of which I cannot repay.
BUT THERE IS SOMETHING I CAN DO TO HELP THEM NOW.
My First Horizon is a small family run group home with 6 residents in Hollywood Florida. Jacob is one of the residents. The local Hollywood Fire Department just had an inspection and informed the group home that a generator is now mandatory and the installation must begin within a few months. The costs for this is astronomical and at this time I, as a parent am reaching out to my family and friends to ask for help and support.
I am trying to help raise funds to help with the costs associated with this Fire Department requirement.
I can supply you with a tax certificate for donation purposes.
I know this is a trying time for everyone, but anything will help.
And we can not let this group home close.
The start of the installation must begin by July, so please, any amount will be appreciated from everyone at My First Horizon.
I will be collecting donations over the next few months.
