Update from Jayme:

Surrounded by love we announce the passing of our beloved Jacob.

Our world will never be the same and our hearts are forever broken. Jacob was a force. He fought hard and we trust that God had other plans for him.

It is so hard to go through this when all I want to do is cry on his shoulder and listen to his perfect advice about what I should do. There is a void in my heart that will never be filled. A legend has been lost. It isn't fair. It doesn't make sense. But I know Jacob will always be with me and our kids. All I can do now is pray for peace and carry him in my heart.

I am so deeply grateful for the love, support and honor you have all shown Jacob and our family during this time. You have all been so incredible. It truly shows what a great man he was.

Please close your eyes, imagine what he would tell you and take comfort knowing that he is at peace.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

If you knew Jacob, you know he was a gift for lifting people.

Whether it is one of his motivational quotes, a joke at the perfect moment, or a message reminding you to keep pushing, he was always the person who poured encouragement, humor, and hope into everyone around him.

For over twenty years, Jacob has been a steady presence in the Anchorage Real Estate community. He has led with heart, pushed others to grow, and built people up with the same fierce belief he has in his own family. As the Broker for REAL in Alaska, he has given everything he has to his team, his clients, and his community. Jacob was devoted husband, an incredible father, and the definition of resilience.

This fundraiser will support his wife Jayme and their three beautiful children, Knox, Atlas, and baby Jovi (who is now eleven weeks old), leftover medical bills, plus the care and stability needed at home.

More than anything, the family needs prayer.

If you have ever been motivated by his words, laughed at his memes, or been strengthened by his belief in you, now is the time to return that favor to him.
