When the Jack Rafferty Foundation launched its campaign in August 2025, its purposes were to support Jack's health, to complete the projects he was working on, and to extend his legacy. Jack passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026 just shy of his 95th birthday. The first purpose has been fulfilled. The second and third are now the whole of our work. The Jack Rafferty Foundation, Inc. was formed with Jack, by a small group of his friends, colleagues, and students, to carry his work beyond any single book or workshop or seminar room. That work now continues in his name. Jack was one of the founders of est, an organization that had over a million participants in the 1970s and 1980s, which laid the groundwork for a global revolution in personal development.

Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.. Our mission is to ensure Jack’s teachings reach far beyond any single book or workshop or seminar room.

The three main purposes of the foundation are: 1️⃣ to continue his good work in the form of the foundation giving back; 2️⃣ to support Jack’s philosophical, creative, and inspirational endeavors, which the foundation currently focused on; 3️⃣ to help extend Jack’s legacy beyond the present and into the near future—creating scholarships and advancing programs that promote his life’s mission of transforming human potential.

1️⃣ Support Jack’s Health & Wellness

For the past five years, Jack has been dealing with late-stage prostate cancer with the same determination and grace that he’s brought to his teaching. Nonetheless, he remains active, writing, mentoring, and designing his legacy projects.

Jack spent his life in service to others and lives modestly.

In order to support his mission of offering scholarships and delivering workshops to those who cannot otherwise afford to attend, Jack created new courses and workshops with new intellectual and emotional properties to provide

2️⃣ Support Jack’s Literary and Professional Projects

Jack is currently writing his seminal, legacy work: a book tentatively entitled Emergence—a culmination of his decades of teaching on love, relationships, and human connection. He’s also preparing workshops and training new leaders to carry this work forward. Jack's work is also being presented in the form of emerging social media content creation.

Your support will help cover:

• Writing, editing, and publishing costs

• Distribution of the book and his teachings

• Training future program leaders to ensure Jack’s work continues beyond his lifetime

• Development of future seminars and workshops

• Costs related to social media and content creation (e.g., TikTok, YouTube, TedTalk, film project, etc.)

3️⃣ Preserve and Expand Jack’s Legacy for Future Generations

We seek to extend Jack’s teachings beyond his lifetime, inspiring the next generation of:

• Leaders and educators

• Professional coaches, counselors, and therapists

• Young people and seniors from underserved communities

… and anyone else who can benefit from transformational, relationship-based learning

We will do this by:

• Offering scholarships to individuals who otherwise might not be able to afford to attend any workshop or program aligned with the foundation’s purpose

• Building programs for young people, seniors, and professionals who want to be of service and expand their emotional, relational, and spiritual potential

• Digitally preserving Jack’s teachings in multiple languages through book sales and charitable donations, so his work can continue to serve people worldwide
