Jack has been fighting Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer, since his 2016 diagnosis. While continuing to work, Jack has undergone two stem cell transplants, chemo treatments bi-weekly, daily oral chemo, and routine bone marrow biopsies. This has taken its toll on Jack and left him with medical bills and many co-pays in addition to his regular household bills. After exhausting his sick time and FMLA it became necessary for Jack to retire from his job at Augustana College. Results of a recent bone marrow biopsy have determined the need for another stem cell transplant which will require additional hospitalization. As friends of Jack we are hosting this fundraiser to help support him through this difficult time and we are asking you to join us!
