My name is Tracy I’m a single mom of 3 daughters! My youngest daughter Jacinda suffers from a condition called focal onset Epilepsy. She generally has 1-9 seizures a month. Sometimes they come on so fast that there’s no time to get to her before she falls and most of the time suffers some kind of injury. She was diagnosed right before her 7th birthday. Over the last 5 years Jacinda has suffered through 6 medications with terrible side affects, two neurologists, and a near death drowning. Say hello to Khalessi she’s a beautiful Husky/Terrier mix picked especially for my daughter and specifically trained to help support, comfort and protect her during her seizures. Jc is too young to articulate when she thinks one might be coming so she needs Khaleesi to protect her from the many injuries she’s had to her face head shoulders hands elbows and knees Jacinda desperately needs this special dog as part of her life long goal to be safe and independent as she gets older and wants to do regular teenage activities. The organization (Canine Support group)that has raised and is training her is a private organization and the cost of the dog, training, vet bills, and food makes this dog $6500. And that does not cover: veterinary care for the heartworm and shots, food toys bones necessities etc. plus the two weeks that I have to take off of work and Jc from school to take her to the facility to help her become accustom to the commands how to handle the dog in public, and what to say to people that the dog comes in contact with. She will take the dog everywhere with her including school, and will be with her day and night for the next 15/20 years. We have just been blessed with extra fundraising time!!!! This will be a tremendous life change for us ,Thank you so much for your generosity
