This spring, my son Jace, a high school honors student, has been invited to take the trip of a lifetime — a 9-day EF Educational Tours journey through Japan with his classmates. From Osaka and Kyoto to Tokyo and Sapporo, the program blends history, culture, and learning in a way that will inspire him for years to come.

For Jace, this is more than travel. It will be his first time abroad, and a chance to grow academically and personally — learning Japanese history and traditions, experiencing daily life, and building independence. He's especially excited to explore Tokyo's culture, which he's only ever read about in books. EF Tours specializes in programs that offer students cultural exchange and hands-on learning beyond the classroom.
