On May 19th 2020 we learned our sister Saydie Lynn Thomas had been found murdered in her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was the kindest most caring person anyone could meet. She had a heart of gold and made friends with everyone she met. SAYDIE DID NOT DESERVE THIS!
Saydie was born in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and grew up in St. Paul, MN. She was the youngest of 11 siblings and loved by so many more. Saydie LOVED music especially Justin Bieber and Mindless Behavior. Saydie also loved to laugh, she would always have a witty come-back when you least expected it, which made her comedy uniquely her own. SAYDIE DID NOT DESERVE THIS!
Our entire family is shaken to our cores. We loved Saydie with all of our hearts. She wouldn’t hurt a fly, yet someone took our sweet and gentle sister from us for absolutely no reason. Our hearts are broken and our family will never be the same. We demand justice, SAYDIE DID NOT DESERVE THIS!
We are asking our friends and family to help as they can so that we can bring Saydie home to Minnesota. We will endure many traveling fees along with legal costs to pursue justice for our dear sister. We also hope to give Saydie the life celebration she deserved. She was only 24, SAYDIE DID NOT DESERVE THIS!
Our family appreciates any help we have and/or will receive; the smallest donations count! Even if you can’t donate PLEASE SHARE THIS!!! Please use the hashtags #JUSTICE4SAYDIE, #OurSisterSaydie, and #SheDidntDeserveThis. We ask that everyone please take the time to share a fond memory of Saydie or just let us know what she meant to you. Please share this as much as possible, SAYDIE DID NOT DESERVE THIS!!!
We thank you all for your love and support,
-The Olson Family.
