JP Martial Arts has a brand new Mat-titude!

Hyde Square's favorite martial arts academy is moving! That's right, after opening eight years ago in our current space, JP Martial Arts Academy is moving two doors down, to a larger space in the same building. We are very excited for more room to spar, practice kata, and flow-roll. Most of all, we will be able to expand our class size capacity.  

As excited as we are about this, the move will require new furniture and new equipment.  Most of all, we we need to lay down new mats for the larger floor space. 

Our current mats are sized and cut to fit our current space. We have already purchased these mats to ensure a safe and robust training experience, however they are quite expensive. Because our school is completely self-funded, we've set up a Mat Fund, to help reduce the financial burden of the move and set-up of the new mats. 100% of the proceeds donated to this GoFundMe campaign will reduce the amount of money used to buy the mats.

Any and all donations are much appreciated! Through all the challenges of the past year, including losing nearly 50% of our membership due to the pandemic measures, it is the support of our students and families that has continued to sustain us. 

We look forward to seeing you all as we move into this new year in our new location!
