JOYs to the World 2nd Summer Camp
Theme: Me, My Body and My Environment

Our summer program is designed to meet the needs of moderate to severe multiple disability students and adults.

Our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of students though activities which stimulate the inner JOY.

What to expect:

Activities are designed to meet students' skill and interest levels. The activities are intended to improve social, adaptive living and functional skills.

Learning Centers: topical stories and picture books, fun auditory stimuli, time for verbal expression, unique tactile opportunities.

Physicality: mindful breathing with gentle movements through structured exercise; stimulation through games, instruments and daily parades.

Identification, preparation and enjoying healthy snacks and drinks.

Environmental awareness and projects to keep our community clean and to find the beauty in nature.

Dates: June 27-July 20, 2017
Mondays thru Thursday's
(No class on July 4th-Tuesday)
Times: 1-4pm
(Staff will be available from 12:30-4:30pm)

Qualified Clients
Middle school through young adults who are moderately to severely multiply disabled physically, socially and mentally.

Summer school
The dates of our Camp correspond with Tulsa Public Schools Extended School Year (ESY).

Transportation
Your child may attend ESY in the morning and be transported by bus to "The Center". Parents will need to arrange for transportation after the daily program. Those not attending summer school will need to provide transportation to and from "the Center".
