My entire life friends, family and myself have made jokes about my inability to see properly.  I've always had ridiculous vision and the dumbest faces to go along with it while trying to read literally anything.

    I've had the wrong prescription since I was in grade school.  Finally, in the summer of 2013, I saw a specialist and was diagnosed with Keratoconus.  It's defined simply as a progressive and degenerative eye disorder that causes your cornea to thin and change shape.  Keratoconus can cause substantial distortion of vision, with multiple images, streaking and sensitivity to light. 

   For example, if I want an ice cream cone after dark I have to wait for someone to get home to accompany me to the store less than two blocks away. (such a bummer)

  Since my initial diagnosis in 2013, I've lost 35% of my vision and IT"S ONLY GETTING WORSE.  I have to act fast! My surgery that will stunt the growth of the disease and improve my vision slightly is scheduled for November 1st, 2016. I know that the holidays are getting close but PLEASE anything will help. 

I have to raise $8000 for JUST the surgery.
