Help me reach my England Ice Hockey Dream!

Hi, my name is JJ, I’m 12 years old and I’m from Nottingham, England. I’m fundraising to help pay for my journey with the England U13s Ice Hockey team!

I’ve played ice hockey since I was 4 years old, and work hard all the time to improve and realise my goals and targets. I’ve recently attended 3 trials for the England U13s Ice Hockey team that will travel to Quebec in February 2024, and I’m so excited to say that I MADE THE TEAM!!!

On 7th February 2024, me and my teammates will fly to Quebec to play in the world famous Quebec Pee-Wee tournament. This is the biggest tournament in the world for players my age, and I will get to play in a massive arena that has more than 18,000 seats! I’m so excited for this opportunity, I can’t wait!

Ice Hockey is already an expensive sport, and my Dad and Step-Mum work really hard to pay for all my training, games, equipment and trials. They drive me all over the country to play games and so I wanted to set up this fundraising page to try and help them cover the costs of the trip. Some people have already said they want to sponsor me as well, so this is a way to do that!

By the time I get on the plane in February, the whole journey from trials to the trip will have cost over £3,400. This is made up of:

£1700 - cost of trip to Quebec

£500 - England team clothing, kit bag and accessories

£1200+ - 3 trials and 5 training camps plus travel to each

I’d like to raise £1000 towards my trip, to help my Dad and Step-Mum cover the costs and for anyone that has said they want to sponsor me in fulfilling my dream!!
