Ben and Kelly have been going through a very selfless journey with their son Jack that has now turned down an unfortunate path that breaks my heart.
This is what Kelly recently posted to her Facebook page.
"Hi so bad news Fridays MRI confirmed that Jack did suffer a brain injury due to lack of blood flow or oxygen. His basal ganglia neurons have suffered NEC, looks like permanent brain damage, what's affecting his sense of touch, swallowing, vision, n muscle movements. If he will ever walk again is hard to say, but as of now we dont know. If his mental state will change, prob not but of course every kid is different and he still needs to be taken off all the meds. But he is still here with us, fighting so we just have to keep hope he will improve and have to try to just find a way to move forward with the lil boy that is in front of us.
Sorry I didn't tell you all sooner. Been a rough weekend and had visits today. This has taken a great toll on our family, bc this should not have happened, is making our stay longer, his life more difficult not better, n our family is not all together that we just feel broken, so as per this I may not be on Facebook for quite some time, not because of any of you, because it's just too hard right now.
