Joie de Vivre Coffee & Culture Cafe (JDV Cafe)
JDV Cafe supporters have wanted a way in which to contribute to the Cafe's continued success in keeping the Cajun Culture alive here in South Louisiana.
Here it is Folks!
For those of you not familiar with the Cafe,
Joie de Vivre Coffee & Culture Cafe is located at 107 North Main Street in the downtown historical district of Breaux Bridge Louisiana.
JDV Cafe is not only a great coffee shop/ cafe it is a Community Center that provides a focal point for the youth of the community to embrace their Cajun Culture. Throughout the year the youth of our community have several opportunities to delve into our Cajun Heritage and play with other Cajun musicians.
Sunday Brunch is often hosted by a young local musician.
Once a month JDV Cafe hosts a Kids Cajun Jam Session where local youth gather and play traditional Cajun Music. Annually JDV Cafe hosts a Talent Walk for the local public school system, allowing students from our area to showcase their talents.
Locals and visitors from all over the world come to the cafe to watch , dance, or even join in the performance.
The Culture Cafe caters not only to musicians but authors and artists as well. Several Local artist showcase their artwork on the walls of the cafe daily and twice a year the cafe will showcase the artwork of the local youth.
Please help us keep this Cultural Cafe operating-any little bit helps!
