This is for donations for the Fort McMurray Wildfire Relief Efforts.
The money is going directly to the Red Cross for the Fort McMurray Wildfire reielf efforts. I, Julie Turowski am an employee of Johnson Controls in Edmonton, AB Canada and I have opened this account so that we as a Johnson Controls team can donate together.
The money will be withdrawn by Brad Garneau personally and then he will submit an online donation directly to the Red Cross for the Alberta Fires Appeal: https://donate.redcross.ca/ea-action/action?_ga=1.38964644.626979168.1462372316&ea.client.id=1951&ea.campaign.id=50639 in behalf of our Johnson Controls employees.
Feel free to donate directly at redcross.ca or by texting 'REDCROSS' to 30333 (within Canada) to give a $5 donation which will come off of your phone bill.
This account has been created to collect donations from Johnson Controls employees in North America so that we can donate together as one organization to the Red Cross.
Collections will be withdrawn by the Branch General Manager in Edmonton, Brad Garneau and then submitted to the Red Cross from his account.
The Edmonton branch is also collecting physical donations of cash, diapers, toiletries and non-perishable food.
We have made several trips to the Edmonton Emergency relief services with donations and we have also had a team of employees at the Edmonton office volunteer at the Edmonton Food Bank to help put together food hampers for families in need, both from Edmonton and Fort McMurray
