Going to the Holy Land of Israel

It all began on a Monday morning. I was driving to work and I heard on my favorite radio station, the Victory 91.5 that there were 2 spots left. I had heard of this trip but thought well, we can't afford it at this time. But as I continued to drive I prayed and worshiped . I tried to get out of my head and focus on my heart. When you hear the voice of God it comes not through you ears but from your heart. I listened to the radio and as I got closer to work this indescribable feeling got stronger and stronger on my heart about this needing to go on this trip. So I called my husband and said I want you to pray, meditate on the word and tell me if you see us taking a journey in September. And so off he went. See last week my husband and I were in a revival at our church and he had the privilege to commune with the holy spirit. It was an amazing experience and the power of this revival forever changed our hearts, our minds, the way we are going to live from this point on, glorifying God and going out to share His word, there would be no turning back.
I called John when I got to work and asked him if he had a chance to pray and he said I see the Jordan River. I got quiet and said ok, thinking with my head, how could he have know? Then he said very boldly he said, "and I see you being baptized in that river". Confirmation. I went to the website to further check out the details of the trip and called the radio station to say my husband and I are meant to have the last two spots. This decision did not come lightly. It is bigger than just my husband and I. It is what God has put on both of our hearts. We all have wants and desires, but like I said this was an overwhelming message these last two spots were being saved for us!
Its very hard to put on to paper the experience we have had, the walk we have walked through our 13 years of marriage and especially this last week. I hope sharing this it will give hope to those who doubt and encouragement to those to struggle with their walk in Jesus Christ. My God is very powerful and we made the decision that we as one flesh will put HIM above all else not as a priority but as the center of our life. If this be HIS will the trip will soon become a reality. I can't wait to share the journey we are about to embark on.
John and I ask that you pray before you give. Don’t give if it doesn’t feel right. Give with a joyful heart, with praise and thanksgiving. We just pray that in the future that we can turn around and bless another young couple who is need financial help to journey back to the Holy Land.
