I am Ismail.

I once owned a camera. Not just a tool, but a way to work, to create, to survive.

Through it, I documented life as it unfolded—people, moments, and stories that deserved to be told. It was my profession, and my only source of income.

During the war, I lost all my media equipment. With it, I lost my ability to work and to support myself through the skill I spent years building.

I am a filmmaker and journalist from Gaza. I am not asking for luxury, or for more than I need. I am asking for the chance to stand on my own again, to rebuild my tools, and to continue doing honest, meaningful work.
