Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, or are now learning, Melissa's oldest son Isaias was in a very bad car accident about 1 week ago... An unlicensed uninsured driver hit his vehicle head on, totaling the SUV and critically injuring Isaias. Melissa was in her salon when she received a call from a bystander that no mother ever wants to get. Isaias was med-flighted to an area hospital where he remains in stable but critical condition. In an instant his car was totaled and his life has forever been impacted by an irresponsible driver. To date, Isaias has already braved two major surgeries, countless x-rays and tests, and is on the long road to recovery from the major injuries he sustained. Such a miracle he survived!
The impact of a situation like this is unlike anything most have ever experienced and will affect him physically, emotionally and mentally. As Melissa continues to stay by her sons side, we are rallying friends, family, and her beloved clients at Studio M to help Melissa, Isaias and Eli through this trying time.
Your support would mean so much to Melissa and her boys. She has worked tirelessly, putting (literally) blood, sweat, tears (and lots of her own personal funds) into making us all beautiful and building a successful salon here in Amelia. Often she has neglected her own needs in the process, and this accident has put a lot in to perspective. Melissa has always been the first to jump in and support our community, its time for our community to repay the favor. I can't say enough about how much this support would be appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
