Hi everyone!
A close friend of Don Cleveland graciously donated a car to the Avenue Church in aid of anyone who really needed a set of wheels.
Just before this gift by Don's friend, after 10 years of having an inactive license, Irving Adams was inspired by the Lord and the Avenue community to reinstate his license and get back on the road.
With a new license hot off the DMV printer, Irving has been in search of a car to help him get to his current job so he can kiss the city bus goodbye, but also help him fulfill his dream and calling to teach in the local school system.
This fundraiser is to help Irving cover the cost of title transfer ($75), vehicle registration ($400) and the first 6 months of auto insurance ($1,225).
The total comes out to $1700 which is a huge step for Irving financially at this moment.
Our goal is to cover this up-front cost for Irving. This would give him the opportunity to realize his teaching dreams and earn more income to be able to fit car expenses in the budget.
