Help Me Conquer Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz! July 12th, 2026

Hi, my name is Sam Minster [@MinsterHD / @ldn_Phoenix], and I’m chasing one of the biggest challenges of my life — competing in Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain’s beautiful Basque Country.

This race isn’t just another triathlon; it’s a full Ironman distance event renowned for its demanding course, stunning landscapes, and the incredible energy of local supporters who line the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Taking on an Ironman means pushing my limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. But it also comes with a huge financial commitment.

I’m reaching out to friends, family, and supporters to help make this dream a reality.

Why I Need Your Support Preparing for and competing in Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz requires much more than just training. Funds raised will go directly toward funding the below and all remaining funds will be shared with charities close to my heart (British Heart Foundation, Dementia UK & Cancer Research):

Equipment: High-performance wetsuit, bike upgrades, running gear, and nutrition supplies to handle a 3.8km swim, 180km bike, and 42.2km run.

Training Costs: Coaching, race entries, nutrition plans, and recovery tools to ensure I’m in peak condition.

Travel & Accommodation: Getting myself, my bike, and essential gear to Vitoria-Gasteiz and staying race-ready before and after the event.

Support Team: Having the right people around me for logistics, motivation, and race-day support.

Why This Matters: This race represents more than a personal goal — it’s a chance to inspire others to take on their own challenges with courage and determination and rise from the Flames.

With your help, I’ll be ready to give everything I’ve got.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to making this dream a reality. Even sharing this campaign with your friends makes a huge difference.

Thank you so much for believing in me and being part of this journey.

Together, we can conquer Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz!
