Big Dog Rescue Project x IRONMAN California – October 27th, 2024
Matt and Jack are competing in IRONMAN California to raise funds for the Big Dog Rescue Project (BDRP). BDRP is a dedicated team of independent dog rescuers working tirelessly to save dogs from high-kill shelters in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They rehome these deserving animals to loving families across the Pacific Northwest and Northeast.
This cause is close to our hearts, as Matt's family dog, Max, was rescued through BDRP. When Matt first started running in 2020, Max became his running buddy. Every dog deserves a chance at a forever home and a loyal companion like Max.
IRONMAN is one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world, consisting of a 2.4-mile swim (3.9 km), a 112-mile bike ride (180.2 km), and a 26.2-mile run (42.2 km). We're excited to take on this challenge to help support BDRP and give more dogs the opportunity for a better life.
These dogs have already shown the resilience, determination, and heart of an IRONMAN—facing tough odds and long journeys to find safety. With your support, we can ensure that every dog has the chance to cross the finish line to a loving, forever home.
