Supporting Isis UC Fullerton journey

Donation protected

Iris is my friend's daughter and from the first time I met her I knew she was very special. She is the second oldest of five children. Three of which have special needs. Despite juggling the challenges of coming from a low income family and assisting with the well-being and care of her special needs siblings. She managed to work hard in school keeping her GPA at a 3.5 and above. In moments where she has the time she throws herself fully into her passion and talent for art.

Iris, who we call Isis, is an undeniably talented artist. A talent she's had since the age of  three. "My art is my heart and the source of my love and happiness in this world. Without it I wouldn't be able to be a good, sister, daughter or student. It is the driving force behind everything I do." Isis says. Her mom says she has an old soul. That the child came into this world knowing exactly what her purpose is. "I don't have to ask or tell her what to do. She just does what she knows is right" says her mom. This was apparent from the moment I met her. She never asked her mother if she needed help with anything nor was she told. She just spots where the need is and gets up to help.

From teaching her autistic sister how to bathe herself and brush her teeth to helping out with her wheelchair bound brother's g-tube feedings and so much more. She is genuine, caring and accepting!  This girl is going straight to the top. Iris has been accepted to CSUF and is first in her family to attend a university. Come join this gifted and talented young lady on her journey to help her complete and obtain her Bachelor's in Art. The funds collected will allow Iris to attend college full time, stay in a dorm, create memories and acquire an education to solidify her future dreams.

If you know me personally, you know I push hard for the right purpose, people and outcomes. Please donate what you can, if you can’t donate please repost. I thank you all in advance and hope you enjoy the updates as Iris plans on moving in August 18th 2022. The first payment is due September 12th 2022.
