Iris Haines is the most joyful little girl and full of smiles, but has endured much more than most could imagine in 3 short years.
In the past couple days, she is slowly losing the ability to walk, without excruciating pain. Last week, she had a blood transfusion due to her hemoglobin levels being violently low. Her hemoglobin levels have dropped so low because her stools consist of only blood, since June.
You ask why? So does her family and loved ones!!!
Soon after birth Iris' family began to notice something wasn't right. Many hospital and Dr. visits later, Iris was diagnosed with innumerable severe allergies, many being life threatening, as well as an undiagnosed auto immune disorder.
Her mother, Stacey, had to quit her job a few months back to stay home ans care of Iris full time as well as continue the search for answers. Her family has tried conventional as well as alternative medical approaches, to no avail. As you can imagine, the medical bills, cost of living, and travel expenses for Iris and her family have been and continue to be an immense financial burden. Throughout these 3 short years, through all the Dr's, specialists, testing, and hospital visits her family still has not come close to an answer. Those same medical professionals suggested and have urged the family to seek treatment on the mainland ASAP.
Iris' mother, Stacey, father, Ryan, brother, Benn, and Iris have just booked tickets to come to the east coast so they can seek medical help at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania) in hopes of finding some answers as to why their precious, soon to be 3 year old daughters' quality of life is now deteriorating by the hour.
Due to the criticality of Iris's condition, the family is desperate to get Iris to CHOP asap and are preparing to stay for as long as it takes to get some answers. Iris's family and loved ones are staying positive and hopeful for a diagnosis and treatment. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read Iris' story. Your donations are deeply appreciated! Please keep Iris and her family in your hearts!
Iris's 3rd birthday is coming up at the end of the month and her big brother, Benn's, 9th birthday is next week, what better gift to give than to help the Haines family help their little sister/daughter find some relief. Your donation would greatly help Iris' debilitating and deteriorating standard of life. Every dollar counts! Whether you can donate $1, $5, $10 or more. Every Donation, Every Dollar, Every Share WILL make a difference.
