Ireland's first Wildlife Hospital

Wildlife Rehabilitation & Teaching Hospital

- Help us Build a Hospital for Ireland’s Wildlife

Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland (WRI) is organising this fundraiser
Hi my name’s Emma. I’m appealing to you on behalf of Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland to help us build a hospital for Ireland’s wildlife.

Ireland’s wildlife needs a hospital. Somewhere safe, where wounded, injured, sick and orphaned wildlife from all corners of Ireland will get the round-the-clock care they need by trained, experienced staff.

We’re building a centre of excellence where all species of Irish wildlife who are in trouble will be welcomed and given the treatment and care they need, so they can be released back into the wild.

We Need Your Help
We need your help to build this Wildlife Hospital. We need it because Ireland’s wildlife is in trouble. Many species are struggling to survive. Some are becoming extinct. The wildlife we have need all the help we can give.

You have our promise that any donation you can make will be gratefully received and will be used to help build the hospital. We invite you to make a donation to help us get the Wildlife Hospital up and running. We invite individuals, families, schools, colleges and organisations all over the country to help us get the Hospital built.

A National Wildlife Hospital
While the Wildlife Hospital will be located in North County Dublin, it will be a national hospital, a resource to benefit wildlife from all over the country.

A benefit to Irish society as a whole
Because volunteering to help animals in a natural setting is a proven way of promoting social, psychological, spiritual and physical well-being, young and vulnerable groups in Irish society will have an opportunity to help care for some of the orphaned and recovering animals in our care.

With that aim WRI, invites organisations that empower the young and the at-risk groups in our society to collaborate with the Wildlife Hospital by forming a social partnership with WRI, a partnership that will benefit Irish society as a whole and Irish wildlife greatly.

The nitty gritty
While €500,000 will get us started, the estimated cost of building the Wildlife Rehabilitation & Teaching Hospital is expected to be no more than €3million, with the hospital expected to be self-funding in a short time frame.
