Ira B. Jones Elementary Alumni

A community of previous Jones students have come together to create an alumni civic group.  Our mission is to create projects that will encourage learning and love of the outdoors.  Many children today do not have the opportunity to be outdoors because of multi-housing, apartments and condominiums.  This first project is a moss/water feature garden.  There will be an outdoor moss garden with water fountains along with native plants and trees.  We will also include a mobile moss garden for classroom learning.  
 
We are so excited about this new organization of old friends and plan to make new ones as we continue to create learning projects for the Jones community.
