Anyone who’s ever loved a dog knows — they’re not “just pets.” They’re family. They’re comfort, laughter, and unconditional love wrapped in fur. And right now, Peso, our sweet, loyal, goofy boy, has unfortunately lost his fight for life.

A few days ago, Peso suddenly became very sick. What started as heavy breathing and lethargy quickly turned into an emergency. After rushing him to the vet, we learned he’s battling severe pneumonia, along with other complications that still aren’t fully understood. He’s been on oxygen, medication, and under constant care at the emergency vet.

The hardest part is watching someone you love suffer. Peso’s medical bills have already reached thousands of dollars — and that total keeps climbing with every test, treatment, and overnight stay. His mom has done everything she can, but the costs are overwhelming.
