Ink Inc. Web Series

Ink Inc. is an observational workplace comedy set in a Brooklyn tattoo shop. One part faux reality show, one part The Office, Ink Inc. is brimming with self-deprication and absurdity. Tattoo artists take center stage and their competitive, volatile and egotistical relationships expose the cracking foundation of their shop.
In this scripted web series, artists and clients alike are forced into the familiar tropes of reality television such as confessional sequences and fourth wall breaks. Rivalries are built, friendships are tested and sometimes tattoos are applied.
Ink Inc. stars a number of actors, comedians and established New York City tattooers. John Reardon, Matt Bivetto, and Franco Maldonado bring an authenticity to the process and insight into the behind the scenes world of tattooing.

The series is a collaborative effort between several New York City based tattoo artists and the writing/directing team BFF&A.
John Reardon is the owner of the Greenpoint Tattoo Company, the main shooting location for the series. An accomplished tattooer with over 20 years experience much of the series is based on his work in tattoo shops around the world.
Matt Bivetto has been tattooing since 2002 and his experiences both in the film and tattoo industries have helped shape the tone and style of Ink Inc.
BFF&A is the writing and directing team of Matthew K. Esolda and Daniel Bowhers. Driven by a shared vision that comedy can be simultaneously smart and stupid, they wrote Ink Inc. to accurately portray the tattoo industry in a way that even people without any body art could enjoy.

We are fundraising to shoot the first series of Ink Inc. Five episodes that are six to seven minutes long. In addition to the episodes, we will be shooting several short form pieces. These interviews, client tales and tattoo tips further develop the world of Ink Inc. and help promote the series.
Ink Inc. is predominately self funded which will cover many production costs including cinematography, lighting and a number of post production costs. However, this campaign is going to be used to address several specific things we need to make Ink Inc.
1. Production Sound Mixer ($300-$400/ day)
2. Equipment Rentals ($3,500.00)
3. Casting ($3,000.00)
4. Production Insurance ($1,000.00)
With your help Ink Inc. will not only sound and look better, but will also be able to better protect our location, cast and crew.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Ink Inc. We appreciate your time and hope you join us in our effort to mock reality and celebrate tattoo culture.
