Vida and Sofia’s Service Dog

Hi Everyone! As most of you know, we recently got a Golden doodle puppy. He is 8 weeks old and the sweetest puppy, Indiana Jones Martin. I know it’s hard to believe with 4 children and a dog already that we would add a puppy to the chaos, but there is a greater purpose for Indy, and that’s to be the girls service dog. This is something we have wanted to get for the girls for quite sometime but it’s a lengthy process and didn’t work out for several reasons. Indy was specifically chosen from a breeder who has previously produced several service dogs and he was chosen because of his temperament and easy going nature. Once he is 15-16 weeks old, he will be sent to Alabama for intense training. He will be trained to provide the girls with services to help them become more independent and social. One of the biggest services Indy will provide is to notify us if the girls wander off or put themselves in any danger. We are asking for help to raise money to get Indy’s training completed. He will be gone from us for 2 months then his training will continue at home with the girls. He will get his official certification once he is 2 years old. We cannot thank our friends and family enough for all of your love and support for our wonderful daughters. They are the light of our lives and with Indy’s support and assistance we know the girls will reach their full potential. We will be updating this page with Indy and the girls journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
