Final Expenses and Medical Bills for Beverly Glenn

Donation protected

Beverly (Luckenbill) Glenn made whatever she was a part of better. That includes this world and everyone in her path. To be near her was to feel loved. Bev was born and raised in Bend, Oregon and lived in Oregon most of her life. She was proud to be a local and Bend High graduate. (It is pronounce Lava Bears with short vowel sounds. Not Law-va!) She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Oregon College (now University) in education and more than enough credits for a master’s degree in special education between COCC, OSU, UofO, and Eastern Oregon.

She held many professions and special titles: mom, wife, aunt, sister, cousin, grandma, public school teacher, minister’s wife, cleaner, daycare worker, special education teacher, AGLOW leader, foster-sister to 76 and foster-parent to over 30 kids (although she never saw anyone as a foster), mother-in-love, children’s ministry coordinator, and so much more. No matter which part of her life you knew her from, you remembered her as being loving, funny, smart, caring, compassionate and supportive.

Beverly was a believer that all could be saved through Jesus Christ. She would often say many will be surprised when they get to heaven and see who’s there. Those who have accepted Jesus as their savior will be there regardless of denomination or if they were religious. It’s about relationships. Not religion. Love like Jesus loves. Let God figure out the rest. She loved being a part of helping others to reconnect with their creator.

On March 4, 2020 Beverly finished her fight and went on to glory. She joins those who proceeded her in death: her parents Norman and Alice Luckenbill, her brothers Donny and Ken, her foster-brother/son Bill, Foster-sister/daughter Sophina, miscarried child Cynthia Dayleen (if she was a girl), mother/father-in-law Ruth and Walter Glenn, brother-in-laws Robert and John, many many cousins, aunts and uncles and son-in-love Dusty Kencke. Needless to say there is a huge family reunion in heaven.

She leaves behind, until we meet again with perfect healthy bodies: her husband Walter, son’s Brian, Joey and Jason, daughter Allison, over 30 foster kids, daughter-in-love Toni, son-in-loves Nate, Brian and Joel, siblings LeeAnn and Glen, Normadine and Ellis, Barbara, Ron and Debbie, Caren and Kathy, grandkids Aaron and Nakia, Alex, Brycen, Riley, Peyton, Paxton and Parker, niece/nephews Walt and Linda, Dennis and Louise, David and Laura, Eric, Teresa, Julie and Brett, Grace, Ruth and Assof, Florence and Jose, Bobby, and Margie, great nieces/nephews and great grandkids Ella and Sophina. And of course many many friends.

Unfortunately, Walt always thought he would go first so he never got life insurance for Bev and made sure she would be taken care of but never thought of himself.  So, in lieu of flowers, please instead help if you can with final and medical expenses. Thank you so much for your help and prayers through her fight. She loved each and every one of you more than you know as do we all.
