We love our little seniors and special needs at BUTTONNOSES Rescue , and that's why we have dedicated our lives to saving them. But this sadly means two things: High vet bills, and heartache.

We recently had to say goodbye to 4 very special seniors who stole our hearts when they came to us, and shattered our hearts when they spread their wings and flew away.

At the same time, we have recently welcomed quite a few new furries with urgent and pricey medical needs: lots of tests and diagnostics (bloodwork, xrays, ultrasounds, etc), and major surgeries (bladder stone removals, spay/neuters, extensive dental surgeries), and of course around the clock care.

And then there's always the Forever Foster (palliative) ones who on top of their usual ongoing cost of care have had some surprise health setbacks that also needed immediate attention (cushings disease diagnosis and ongoing treatment, seizures,and more).

The last little while has not been easy given the circumstances (plus the pandemic which hasn't been kind to us). We hope you will consider a donation in memoriam of our departed angels, and in helping BUTTONNOSES Rescue to get to the top of our uphill climb with our ever stacking vet bills so that we can continue to save, rehabilitate, care for and love these angelic, deserving pups in our care.

In Memoriam

We are remembering our four recently departed angels: Betty White (passed away in foster) , Mr. Big (long term resident BUTTONNOSE), Simone (passed away in adoptive home), and Max (passed away in adoptive home).

We truely and sincerely appreciate each and everyone of you for always having our back.
