Freddy and I have been  together for 25 yrs!!! We raised 4 amazing boys, into 4 amazing men!!! that we are very proud of!!! Freddy has a beautiful, amazing daughter that lives in California, near her daughter and granddaughter.. we have 10 grandkids, and 1 great granddaughter, 1 great grandchild on the way...
Freddy got larnyx cancer about 7 - 8 yrs ago, it was treated with radiation  for several weeks, and went in remission.... about 4 yrs ago the cancer came back and the best treatment to get rid of it was to take out his voice box... that was 3 yrs ago and he has had 1 complication after another.. when we first came home from the hospital it was very rough in the beginning figuring it all out.... on top of I was in a car wreck in August 2008, and have a lot of painful issues that limit what I can and can't do.. eventually we settled into a new routine... or so we thought.. as it turns out we never knew what kind of day we were going to have.. we took turns having good and bad days so we took care of each other that way

On Friday September 4th Freddy passed away at home. He went in his sleep and he didnt suffer. Our son and I are  struggling to keep it together long enough to plan a funeral, handle the mortgage, and a list of things that just keeps getting longer. This gofundme is to ask those who are able to do so to help with the cost of the funeral, and any other financial burdens that will come of this while we grieve the loss of our husband and father on top of trying to keep up with my own worsening health problems. anything is appreciated.
