In Loving Memory of Little Emily

*Update*

As most of you know, Emily has gone to be with our Lord. Her little body could no longer fight the extent of her injuries and medications were at their maximum.  She was with her family at the time and she passed peacefully. 

The family will be receiving several medical bills as not everything is covered by insurance. Mom, at LEAST, will be out of work for quite some time -not just for the obvious reasons but as Emily’s siblings, understandably, are having a very hard time coping with this loss.  Dad will also need time to grieve and cannot carry all the weight right away on his own. Your donations already will make such a difference and we thank you so very much for your generosity and love. 

I ask for your patience if you see me continuing to share this page. If you have already donated- we could not be anymore thankful, but if you could just CONTINUE to please share it again throughout at LEAST the week so we can get the family on their feet we would be so grateful.  Seeing the love spread through social media has given them great comfort - they truly had NO IDEA how many people out there are praying for Emmie and the family ❤️  We love you all.

Please help my family, Justin and Jennie Gonzalez and their children, as their 14-month-old daughter had a horrific accident. The other night, their daughter Emily accidentally drowned in the bathtub next to her twin sister Sophia, who thank goodness was alright. Emily is currently on life support, and this is an hour-by-hour situation. This has devastated mom, dad, and her 6 siblings. We ask that you first please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, but also, please donate in any way. Please help so they can get meals and other expenses covered during this traumatic time. We appreciate anything you can do. Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and UF Shands Children’s Hospital have been so kind and wonderful; we ask the same from our family, friends, and neighbors.
