With profound sadness and a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that after 31 days fighting for his live in the ICU, our dear friend Omar Forero passed away on June 3, 2021. He leaves behind his wife, Rocio and two children, Matt and Sophia.
Omar was a wonderful and dedicated husband and father. A great friend that always was there when needed. He was a great human being always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He would fill a room with laughs with his witty sense of humor. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
Please join us in helping to support his lovely family as they begin planning for life in Omar's absence.

Omar Forero is a great husband, father and friend always caring and helping others. But on Monday night, May 3rd, the lives of Omar and his wife and two children were forever changed. Omar experienced a heart attack. His wife drove him to the nearest hospital in Gwinnett County, but his condition was so severe that the same night he was airlifted to Emory Hospital in Midtown Atlanta for further treatment.
On Tuesday, May 4th, he underwent Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) cardiac surgery. After surgery, Omar was transported to Emory Intensive Care Unit in Decatur, GA.
Omar remains in the ICU. Omar is showing signs of improvement. He is a true warrior! Family and friends are all praying for his recovery.
Omar is a great human being that always give of himself to others. Today we are asking to help him and his family with the overwhelming medical expenses that they are facing.
